Gannett and Tipico Sportsbook Form an Exclusive Partnership

Gannett Co., USA Today’s parent company, has collaborated with Tipico USA Technology in starting a variety of online gambling content which helps viewers invest their time and money in their favorite sports. The companies have struck a deal worth $90 million for five years. The proposed company will provide iGames, and online casino gambling and will integrate betting trends, free-to-play games, odds, and props. 

As per the recent announcement that was made on Tuesday, Tipico will co-brand the NFL team sites. It is also reported that in New Jersey and Colorado, Tipico’s sportsbook will go live in the fall. 

Gannett CEO and Chairman Michael Reed said that Tipico adds incredible expertise from their European operations and next-generation product capabilities, which offer Gannett’s sports enthusiasts and local consumers a way to become even more invested in the games and sports they care about.

Gannett has a highly engaged audience of over 46 million sports fans who, according to Reed, crave betting insights, odds, analysis, and unique features, which the company aims to provide with their Tipico alliance.

Tipico is Germany’s biggest sports betting company and is a leading betting firm in the world. Tipico will co-brand the NFL Wire team sites and For The Win as part of the partnership announced on Tuesday. This would include a re-launch of the Bets portion as “Bet For The Win.” It will also publish odds pages online and in print across the USA TODAY Network.

Coinciding with the start of the NFL season, branded betting-related content is planned to appear in August. This autumn, Tipico’s sports betting businesses in Colorado and New Jersey will be online, allowing users to bet using Tipico Sportsbook.

Gannett’s operations and vast local reach, combined with Tipico’s technology, which includes iGaming proprietary betting products, will provide a slam dunk combo for American sports fans.
