Draftkings Partnering With Domino’s Pizza on Betting Contest

If given a chance, gamblers would bet on anything, and this has come true with Draftkings and Domino’s Pizza coming together with their new free-to-play game.

On Monday, both companies announced that they are teaming up together where users of the gaming company’s Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) app will profit from Domino’s pizza delivery.

The company, in its statement, mentioned that Domino’s and DraftKings have also launched the Domino’s Carside Delivery, 2-Minute Guarantee Over/Under Challenge.

It will allow customers to predict whether Domino’s Carside Delivery will be faster than two minutes, more or less than 80% of the time, for a chance to win a share of $200,000 in prize money.

Draftking’s New Strategy to Gain Customers

Gaming companies in this hyper-competitive era are getting more and more innovative when promoting or grabbing customers. Draftkings has plenty of old standbys and media partnership deals that help in bringing more customers.

Then there’s DraftKings’ getting into the gift card market in December, as well as its partnership with Boost Mobile to allow bettors to fund their accounts at the carrier’s physical locations. The Boost package also has Exclusive contests.

Sports betting contracts exist with other dine-in restaurant brands, such as Hooters. However, given the inclination of bettors to watch games in which they have a financial stake on television is quite logical. In other words, it is quite unusual for a betting firm like DraftKings to partner with a restaurant chain like Domino’s, which primarily focuses on takeout and delivery.

Draftkings Hunting for New Customers

By signing the partnership deal with Domino’s, Draftkings can bring DFS customers towards its sports wagering mobile platform.

FanDuel and DraftKings are two major mobile sportsbook companies operating in the United States today. These companies accounted for around 62 percent of the industry and have earned top spots in the daily fantasy sports market, demonstrating that daily fantasy dominance is vital for attracting clients to sports betting.

For DraftKings, joining hands with Domino’s could be a cost-effective way to acquire new customers.
