Pointsbet Wins ‘best Innovation in Sports Betting’ Award

The eGaming Review (EGR) honored PointsBet, a leading worldwide online gambling company, at the EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards 2021 with an award for demonstrating innovation in sports wagering and the best affiliate marketing strategy.

It was awarded to recognize PointsBet’s impressive scale and development, capacity to innovate, and distinguish the responsibility towards gambling, marketing excellence.

On winning the prestigious award, PointsBet USA CEO, Johnny Aitken said that the company is fully committed to offering transparent service and the best possible sports betting services to wagers. The company extended its gratitude to sponsors, teams, industry partners, and judges.

The panel of judges made the following comments regarding the service rendered by PointsBet:

  • PointsBet demonstrated innovation, distinguishing itself from its immediate competitors after entering the market.
  • O&O product is a huge plus point. It is one of the few areas of product differentiation and an excellent counterpoint to their competitors’ loud promotion and marketing strategies. PointsBet is a deserving recipient of the innovation award for its distinct product offering and its reputed market position.
  • The use of expertise on social media networks is both engaging and editorially compelling to increase affiliate performance. In the fast-growing and competitive betting sector, this is an obvious winner in terms of attracting attention.

The Promising Journey

After establishing itself in New Jersey in January 2019, PointsBet has made its mark in Colorado (Headquarters), Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan. The firm hopes to introduce its leading market product in Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, and West Virginia for legislation and regulatory clearances through market access agreements.

The company recently launched its first unique iGaming platform in Michigan and is planning a similar move in New Jersey in the coming years.

The company also underwent an agreement with NBC Sports, under which the sports company will offer PointsBet an all-year multi-platform gameday service across NBC Sports Regional Networks, as well as multi-media and marketing possibilities throughout its unrivaled collection of events.
